Terms

Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms cover Knotly, the platform wedding planners use to create invitation websites, manage guests and collect replies. A planner's written agreement with us, such as their quotation or contract, sets the price, the designs included and the delivery dates. Where it says something different from this page, the agreement applies.

The service

Knotly gives each planner an app under their own name and web address for their team and their couples, invitation websites built from the planner's designs, and the tools to manage guests and events, send invitations on WhatsApp, follow replies and export them.

Accounts

  • Planners decide who is invited into their app, and with which role.
  • Each person keeps their sign in to themselves.
  • The planner is responsible for what their team and their couples do in their app.

Guest information

  • Planners and couples add only people they are inviting, and only the details needed to invite them.
  • The planner is responsible for having a valid reason to use guests' details and for answering guests' requests about them. We help them do it; see our Privacy page.
  • Invitations are sent from the planner's or the couple's own WhatsApp, and the sender is responsible for what they send.

Designs and content

  • Your designs, logos, photos, texts and music stay yours. You allow us to use them only to build and run your invitations and your app, and to show your work as an example only if you agree in writing.
  • You confirm that you have the right to use what you give us, including photos, music and the fonts in your design files.
  • The Knotly platform and its code stay ours. A design we build from your file is for your use, and we do not offer it to other planners.

Acceptable use

No unlawful, hateful or misleading content, no messages to people who did not expect them, and no attempt to reach another planner's information or to disrupt the service.

Availability

We work to keep Knotly online and fast, and we back it up every day. Problems can still happen, and some work needs short planned breaks, which we schedule outside busy hours and announce in advance.

Fees

Fees are set in your agreement, for example a setup fee and a monthly fee. If an invoice stays unpaid, we may pause the service after giving notice.

Ending the service

  • Either side can end the service as your agreement allows.
  • Before it ends you can export your guest lists and replies. We delete your information within 90 days after the end, as our Privacy page explains.
  • Invitation pages stop working when the service ends, so plan the end after your weddings.

Responsibility

We provide the service with reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, or for problems caused by WhatsApp, phone networks or content you provide. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits a responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell planners by email before it applies.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut decide any dispute. Questions: info@knotly.me.
